HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15m-ed0013dx

Hi! It seems like what is a common occurrance (see below for a few links I found within the span of a minute indicating how common it appears to be), I was using my HP Envy one day and one of the hinges gave out. This meant that whenever I tried moving the screen, the left corner popped loose and plastic pieces started breaking. This led me to leaving my laptop on my desk, making it absolutely unusable for my job and for everyday use. When I tried contacting customer support, they just kept repeating it was out of warrenty, trying to direct me to their paid "Smartfriend" service. This is especially annoying since this is a known  flaw within HP Envy products and customer support was not willing to admit that, trying to get me to pay money for something that was out of my control. I was wondering if there was any way to fix this or to get HP to fix it, given that this appears to be a manufactering fault in the first place.

I understand you are facing a hardware issue with your HP ENVY X360 Laptop - 15m-Ed0013dx. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
