Hi oach,
The hardware id you've posted is for the JMicron Card Reader driver which can be found on the following link.
JMicron Card Reader Driver - Windows 8.

I did the driver scan with no success:
Product # GS684US
Serial: {Personal Information Removed}
The model is:
dv6609wm
The Driver update finds nothing and Windows 8 is not a valid selection for Opeating System. The JMICRON Media Card driver installed but made no difference. I sent the Hardware ID's of the associated devices in my original message. Can you suggest anything else. I suspect it is a driver issue with Windoes 8? My browser fails all the time and my PC crashes intermittently. Can you please help?

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I have gone to the support site and ran the driver checker for my system.
HP Pavillion dv6500
Product #: GS684UA
Serial: {Personal Information Removed}
Model: dv6609wm
When ask to select my Operating System there was only Windows Vista and Windoes 64bit. I got no driver issues returned. Do you have any more suggestions?

Hello Jordan_Viram.
I believe that Hardware ID refers to your card reader. Try installing this driver and let me know the result.
Have a good day!
