I have an HP Envy, Model 6-1014nr. With the AC adapter plugged in, the light next to it is white. When I press the power button, it blinks white as well as an orange light on the wifi (F12) button. It produces the same results with the AC adapter not plugged in.

Hi there I was using my HP 2000 Notebook PC, when all of a sudden my screen went black and the power indicator light started flashing so I tried pressing the power button to bring it back on and nothing worked, so then I took the battery out and put it back in and tried turning my laptop back on and there is no power no lights or anything turns on, I have tried taking my battery and AC power out holding the power button for 15,30 and 60 seconds then putting the AC back in and still no power or lights flash, and my AC adapter works because the light is on next to the plugin, my product number is D1E81UA#ABA and I run on windows 7 64 bit, I have only had this laptop for just over 1 year, any help would be very greatful because I need this for work and study and just can't afford another laptop. Many thanks Glenn.

My sons G7 laptop just stopped working. After some inquiry it seems that he had it on his bed and i am concerned that it may have overheated and burnt out some internal unit (heatsink Unified memory perhaps?) Can you give me a eduacted idea of what component(s) might need to be replaced? Thanks.....
