Hi Paul,

Uknown Device:

Even If It says that I don't have a driver for Network Controll, I have downloaded and installed a Ehernet driver myself( I think It's NDIS 6.20 Miniport driver Windows 7(64-bit), Realtec Family Controller) and I can access the Internet via Wired LAN (but still cant Wireless).

Anyway, I am looking forward to your response, thanks in advance 🙂

PS: I searched on all this topic's pages but I coudnt find my Hardware ID at network controller, so I had to ask you 😛

Hi:

Go back to the device manager and click on the devices that need drivers one at a time.

Then click on the Details tab. Now you will see a Properties drop down list. Drop down on that and select the second item (Hardware ID's).

Post the top string of characters you see in the window.

Those will ID the type and model of the missing devices and I will send you the links to the drivers you need.

Hi:

Below are the links to the drivers you need for your HP Pavilion 17 Notebook:

First install the AMD chipset driver and reboot.  That should install the smbus controller.  You only want and need the first file on the list.

http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/chipset?os=Windows 7 - 64

Next, install both of these drivers to get the USB 3.0 controllers installed.

Network Controller:  This is for the wireless card. The other driver installed the Ethernet Controller (wired adapter).

Hi again,

Firstly, thanks a lot for your QUICK response 😄

Secondly, I did as I was told and all drivers are right, except for the one for the PCI Card, when I try to install It, It says that the driver was not installed successfully even If the setup said It was installed(but I guess It does not matter)

Do you have another driver to suggest me for the PCI? Thanks again for your help.

You're very welcome.

Try this one...you may need to reboot the PC to make sure the driver has completely installed.
