Hello,

Has anybody had an issue creating a polylens account from scratch? I first created an HP account which was verified. Then I proceed to sign to the polylens web interface. Upon signing in, the HP MFA portal sends a verification code to my email address but I never received the code. I checked in my email management console for our organization and there are no records of the code ever being sent.

Here are some steps you can take to try and troubleshoot the problem:

  1. Check your spam or junk folder: Sometimes, verification emails can accidentally end up in these folders. Make sure to check them thoroughly.

  2. Verify the email address associated with your HP account: Double-check that the email address you're expecting the code to be sent to is the correct one registered with your HP account. There might be a typo or an incorrect email address associated with it.

  3. Try logging in again: There might be a temporary technical glitch. Try completely logging out and then logging back into the PolyLens web interface to see if a new code is sent.

  4. Request a new verification code: On the login screen where you're prompted for the code, there's usually an option to "Resend code" or something similar. Try clicking this option to request a new verification code to be sent.

  5. Contact HP support: If the above steps don't work, the next step would be to directly contact HP technical support. They will be able to check the status of your account, investigate if there are any issues with sending MFA codes, and provide you with specific assistance. You can usually find their contact information on the HP website.

  6. Check your organization's email settings: Although you mentioned there are no send logs in your email administration console, there might be some filter or rule configured on your organization's email server that is blocking the receipt of these emails. You might want to consult with your organization's email administrator to ensure that emails from HP are not being blocked.
