HP Office jet pro 8025
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Lines through cyan, purple and green colors. Printer is only a few weeks old. I tried brand new fresh ink, all colors at once. Cleaned print heads. Cleaned smears. Print alignment. Followed directions from another question on community i.e., removed all ink cartridges and closed the door; removed power cord; cleaned the electrical contacts, cleaned the paper feed rollers; plugged the power cord back in. Installed ink cartridges. Went to download and update firmware, but it said mine was up to date. From the printer maintenance menu I cleaned page smears, then opened setup. Opened the printer maintenance menu cleaned print heads. I have cleaned the print heads numerous times. The ink is genuine HP ink. Copy paper is 20lb weight, 92 bright. I'm really upset because I just replaced an EPSON Workforce that I had for probably 10 years and I just wanted to upgrade. I am so disappointed that I switched to HP. Hope someone can help. Welcome to the HP support community.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.

We run a small business out of our home.  We are having the exact same issue you are.  I was going to add a photo as you did, however they would look the same!  We purchased this printer over the summer.  We have wasted a tremendous amount of ink and spent an inordinate amount of time trying to fix this problem.  Is there any support, or is this just another piece of plastic that I spent a lot of $$ on?  We have a sale tomorrow, and we can't print labels.  This REALLY sucks, and it is hurting us.  an anything be done about this?

Please HELP.
