I'm quite disgruntled the fact that when I purchased this Printer back in 2018. I bought 2 packs of 952 XL Black, (which each pack comes with 2 XL black inks). And I bought 2 pack 952XL Color links (which is 6 total cartridges of x2Magenta, x2 Cyan,x2 Yellow). I don't print often and Was ready to switch my set out. to the last set I had of black, and colors.
It told me My Ink cartridges are (Old Generation) due to a firmware update , and None of them work! I put the old ones back in for the rest of the little Ink I got left.
This 952 XL ink isn't cheap. and the cost of a new set of black and color is a new printer anyways. But I have 4 XL ink cartridge's 1 black , and 3 color.. that I can't even use. And what is this expiration date on them? Are you kidding me? These are properly stored in a temperature controlled room, and they shake ink with no issue.
If I don't get this XL set replaced.. TOTALLY leaving for a different brand.. and Never again will I come back to HP ever. A waste of a good working printer. to just recycle because the ink costs just as much as a new printer.. and a firmware update to make my purchased ink cartridge's to OLD GENERATION/UN-USABLE. I hope you make this right.. because I'm 150$ out of useless ink cartridge's.

Never buying an HP product again. Good riddance, I'm putting this company on blast soon enough.
HP Contacted me , asked me about my printer.. Since that was out of warranty they told me to get lost. They don't care
Company's more worried about my printer being out of warranty which it is.. The whole reason for this post was obsolete, full ink cartridges no longer compatible with my printer. Since your firmware update f**ked my 150$ ink cartridges I had on my shelf, replace them. If not good riddance to you. I'll be off to another company.
NEVER.. AGAIN..
