Bought a 950XL/951 four pack at office supply WARRANTY DATE 5/13/2024 - CYAN cartridge does not work. Office supply doesnt exchange creating inventory tracking issues either breaking a four pack or losing a single. Other cartridges all recognized immediately by my printer (out of warranty but printing well when the ink works). Filed a Case Number after 60 minutes of searching and finding Bob Headricks tutorial. Call HP Customer Service - 45 minutes HOLD - only to be told printer is out of warranty, no kidding, I called about the ink. Sorry we cant help you, we don't have diagnostics for an obsolete printer. Again, it's not the printer, it's the Cyan ink cartridge. After another 15 minutes on hold - I get the Instant Ink warrantly department; I don't have instant ink. Transferred again, another 10 minutes - transfer wont connect. Call 866-625-3906. "AI-Holly" is useless. Next rep 5 minutes drops call. Starting again. Next Rep HP Store 22 minutes no where . Next "800 tech support" - No help after 30 minute hold - back to tech support who can't. I'm out $26 and 3 hours on my day; but probably cost HP that and more in Customer "NO" Service wages.

After a 10 minute discussion with the Mgmt of my local office supply store - he cracked another 4pack and pulled a replacement. He said the quality of HP ink has dropped recently (last year) and been breaking multipacks weekly to replace bad cartridges. I guess when this ink is done - I’m done with HP. Another tech company lost to executive bonuses vs product quality, supporting consumers, and delivering innovative solutions for small businesses.
