Been sent a 304 cartridge for an ENVY 4520 ALl in one printer. Usually have 302 cartridges?

Just been sent a 304 black cartridge instead of the usual 302, clicks in place fine but things aren't printing well  - it's knocked the magenta off the colour print out and is really bad quality when it does print black from this new cartridge. Now I cannot print properly. Surely this is the wrong cartridge for an HP Envy 4520 All In One printer? Googled it and found it says it IS the wrong type? ...Tried the whatsapp contact number and it's taken 5 hours fro a response from a live tech, by which time I didn't pick up the message and the call was then closed. Starting to get fed up now!

I’d recommend you contact HP Phone Support in your region for assistance

Follow the instructions below to reach them:

1) Click on this link - https://www.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html

2) Select your product type below.

3) Enter the serial of your device. 

4) Select the country from the drop-down. 

5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 

6)Fill the web-form and proceed further.

Hi Jay. Just phoned support. I need to be with the printer to go through things but I'm not there at the moment. She said 304 is fine?  It's an Envy 4520 all in one. I cannot find any info online that that's the case? 

So as of now I have a 302 Tri in place and the new 304 black. The print is so bad. Am going to open the envelope with the replacement tricolour and see if that's a 302 or 304 ..
