Black ink not printing.  New cartridge installed, ran tests, performed hard start and still no black. Cant run a print quality report because the printed wording is alas, only in black which is a problem because:  Black ink not printing.  Printer was not plugged into a surge protected outlet and there was a power outage locally.  But color still works great.

If you have already performed the steps from the document Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Even though Ive cleaned printhead multiple times, doing it multiple times in a row allowed my magenta ink to flow again.  Thanks
