Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP

The black ink will not print. I bought a $90+ ink pack with an XL black ink for the start of the school year and every color besides black works. I have preformed every test, cleaning, alignment and update available. I checked the vent on the cartridge and it’s clear. The only thing I can think is when I opened the black ink the label near the vent on the cartridge came off with the plastic. That plastic was thrown away along with the label so is there a thing that can be done?
