Product: HP envy photo 6234

Have tried all the suggestions on help pages and check drivers etc  also contacted HP instant ink for a replacement cartridge and printer still not working  as shows cartridge error message

 

seems to be a common problem is there a solution or should I throw the printer out!!!!!!  where do I leave complaints .......!!
