Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

All of a sudden I'm getting lines across printed pictures, tried all the tools available, clean, align etc to no avail. been going on for a few days now and I seem to have narrowed it down to the black ink supply as in printing black and white text it fades and streaks with broken lines down the page. There are no error numbers showing, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software, again to no avail and am reluctantly coming to the conclusion that perhaps a fault has developed in the black print head .. any suggestions please ?

@Allen-49, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand the print quality is not satisfactory. Due to the age of the printer, support options are limited.

Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - Horizontal Streaks or Lines in the Printed Image

Have you replaced the black ink cartridge and check if the issue persists?

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
