For some reason the black printing is so light you can barley read it. I have used all the tools and nothing seems to help. The black is 1/2 full that that is not the issue. In addition to being light, it is not printing all of the words either, hit and miss. I am not computer/printer wise so I dont know what else to do.. Can some one help me, Please.
Thanks.

Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that you are getting print quality issues, and I am glad to assist you.
Did you make a copy and check if that prints fine?
Meanwhile:-
Clean the ink cartridges
- Make sure to load the input tray with plain, white paper.
- On the printer control panel, swipe the display to the left, then touch Setup
. - Touch Tools, then touch Clean Cartridges.

Thank you for you reply to my problem. I followed all the instructions, but nothing worked. I think now what I am going to do, is buy another new black cartridge (even though the printer shows the one I have is 1/2 full). maybe for some reason it is reading it wrong. Other than that I dont know what else to do. Again Thank You

Hi Sandy......................I have not gotten around to getting the new cartridge yet as I have been not feeling well. Some people have been telling me I am better off just buying a new printer, at this point I really dont know what to do. I think I will still go with getting the cartridge, may by this week end, Thank you for your interest. I will let you know if it works.
