HP LaserJet Pro 500 color MFP M570dw
Microsoft Windows 11

First few pages have vertical blck lines.

Second page of duplex printing illegible, prints overlap lines and are back to front.

I have tried replacing the black cartridge but it did not help.

So to confirm, tray 1 prints are ok? Did you try about 10 pages to confirm it was not having an issue? I would check your paper type settings on both trays. The setting should match the actual media you are using. Choosing "any" as a paper type often results in poor print quality performance.

Can you post some samples please. Do you get the same result printing from all trays? How many pages are on the printer and have you ever changed either the transfer belt or the fuser?

Thank Repairatrooper.

Interesting; when I used tray 1 (like a manual feed itt was fine. Then I tried tray 2 again and the second page was fine apart from black lines on both.

Thank you.

I tried chaging the settings but it didn't work, still illegible on second page.

I check a 16 page print through tray 1 and it was fine.

The duplex printing is now working well. Since my last post I have restarted my laptop and changed the settings as you suggested.
