HP OfficeJet Pro 8025e All-in-One Printer

 I have just installed all 4 BRAND NEW HP ink cartridges: Black, Cyan, Yellow, and Magenta. Not getting any blue or green printing at all. I cleaned the printhead, as suggested. Test copy comes out with bright yellow and magenta and red, but no blue or green whatsoever. Also checked to see if there is any obstruction, but the cyan cartridge LOOKS fine to the naked eye. Also, no blue shows up on the printer alignment page. Any suggestions?

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to assist you.

 

I see that you are facing an issue with your Printer that is missing few colors on the print.

A) Please follow the steps below to perform a power drain.

 

1) Take out the cartridges

2) Unplug the power cord from the printer & wall.

3) Press and hold the power button down for 15 seconds and release the power button, wait for about 30 seconds.

4) Plug the power cord back into the printer and wall, ensure the printer is plugged into the wall & not into a surge protector.

5) Insert the cartridges back into the printer.

Remove the cartridges > Unplug the power cord > Wait for 30 seconds > Plug the power cord back in > Insert the cartridges

 

B) Kindly refer to the steps on this link to update the printer firmware and let me know if that resolves the issue.

 

C) If the issue still persists, refer to the steps on this link to further troubleshoot.

Irwin6: Thank you so much for trying to help me with this problem, but it still isn't fixed. I followed all of the steps you recommended, but the blue (CYAN) cartridge is still not working. Unless I specifically choose black, everything is printing out in pink or light red. But at least I can use black, which I need the most. Again, I thank you for your help and for being so polite and courteous on the phone as well as here.. Sorry I can't  choose Accept As Solution.
