Officejet 8015
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I just bought a new Officejet 8015 printer a few days ago, and I cannot get the black ink to work. I've tried all the trouble shooting things, like cleaning the printhead and doing an alignment and cleaning the vent. Nothing seems to work, and when I tried to get help, the online support guy just had me redo the same things I had already tried. It was very frustrating.  Does anyone know anything else I can try?!

I have a Office Jet 6950 and recently switched to HP Instant Ink.

 

I have the SAME problem as original post, printer will not print black ink. Tried aligning printheads, cleaning, resetting, wiping contacts, updating firmware, etc. all the things virtual assistant recommend and nothing has worked. Literally have spent hours trying to get black ink to print. 

 

Just tried to copy a page and page and it came out blank. Black ink cartridge setting is full. If I print a Word doc in blue or color it prints fine, but nothing prints in black.

I can't copy in black, and no, I don't have a spare ink. It was just the trial size that came with the printer that I was using.  I ended up returning the printer for something different.  Thanks!
