It has been rebooted and reset multiple times over 2 hours yesterday with a support person with no success. 

I appreciate your note though - thanks.

My Office Jet 9025 was 2 weeks out of warranty when this occurred!  I spent over 2 hours rebooting and resetting to no avail.

This problem seems to be a recurring problem for HP printers. I wish they would get it together and offer a fix!!  I question whether I want to change to another company for any new printer purchases.
