Not getting green color to print. Leaves come out yellow. Replaced all cartridges with new HP cartridges. Still no green, just yellow. Took blue cartridge out and put back in a few times. Still won't print green color.

Hi @Garden-Gal_2514,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP printer is not printing green, despite replacing the cartridges and ensuring the ink is properly seated, it could be due to a few common issues. Here's a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot.
- Check Ink Levels and Cartridge Health: Even though you've replaced the cartridges, verify that the new cartridges are not defective. Some printers might still show issues if a cartridge is faulty. Check ink levels through the printer's control panel or the HP Smart app to ensure the blue cartridge (cyan) has sufficient ink.
- Clean Printheads: Sometimes the printhead nozzles can become clogged, preventing certain colors from printing. You can clean the printheads either from the printer's control panel or through the HP Smart app. Look for the option to clean the printhead or perform a deep cleaning.
- Run a Print Quality Diagnostic: Many HP printers have a built-in diagnostic tool that prints a test page to check the quality of the colors. This can help identify if the problem is with the printer itself or the cartridges.
- Check Printer Settings: Make sure the printer settings aren't causing an issue. For example, check if color printing is enabled and that you're not printing in black-and-white or grayscale mode.
- Try Printing with Another Program: If you're printing from a specific application (e.g., a photo editor or browser), try printing from another program (like Microsoft Word) to rule out software-specific issues.
- Perform a Cartridge Reset: Sometimes, simply turning the printer off, unplugging it for 10-15 minutes, and then turning it back on can reset the cartridge recognition process.
- Check for Firmware Updates: Make sure your printer's firmware is up-to-date, as outdated firmware can sometimes cause printing issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
