ENVY 5030
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have an ENVY 5030 that is connected to a PC running Windows 10 via Wifi. I have recently replaced my black cartridge with another HP original one, this time a 304XL.

This cartridge is supposed to be compatible with my printer, and indeed, it is recognized by the HP Print and Scan Doctor as being present and having full ink. However, when I try to print a document, only colors (from my other cartridge) show up, there is no black at all.

Please advise, I have already tried a number of things such as updating my drivers, cleaning the printhead, running HP Print & Scan Doctor, physically taking out the cartridge and putting it back in, etc.

I would have preferred to contact tech support directly, but apparently you have to pay for that privilege...I have to say it's been a long time I've been this disappointed in a company's practices.

Regards,

Simon
