A couple months ago, I had the carriage that holds the ink cartridges and print head go bad.

I ordered a replacement direct from HP, and installed it.

It's working with the cartridges that were included with the replacement, but there was a message to do something involving my Instant Ink cartidges- but the message was on the tiny little screen on the front of the printer, and I was unable to read it (the screen reset when I tried to lean over close enough to read the text).

What am I supposed to do about my Instant Ink cartridges? Send them back for ones keyed for the new carriage? Put them into the new carriage? I've not been able to find answers browsing the help resources.

I ended up putting the old Instant Ink Cartridges back in and they appear to be recognized.... I didn't think it would be the case from what little I saw before the screen blanked on me, but that appears to have worked - though it took about 5 minutes for the Instant Ink page to tell me so. So, the issue is apparently resolved - though it might be nice to have a way to cycle back through to see messages that disappear too soon.
