Product: HP 6978
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

HP Officejet Pro- 6978.    Printer giving “M” cartridge missing or damaged error.  Replaced HP M with new HP M cartridge , but continue to get the same error.   Restored factory settings on printer— still getting same error.   Unplugged and plugged in….. same error.   Any advice?

Hi,

What is the cartridge number used? is it an HP 902 Magenta cartridge?

 

Could you please include a picture of the ink cartridge label to get some better understanding of any possible cause?
