Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP 8160 using 951 cartridges. I just talked to HP support and they told me that you CANNOT use the 952XL available at Costco, BJ's, and SAMS.

HP Officejet 8610 can use 950/950XL for black and 951/951XL for colour ink cartridges.

 

You can't use HP 952 cartridges no matter where you bought them.

Indeed, HP 952 cartridges are intended for other printers such as the 8710 model, it is not intended to the 8610 printer and cannot be used with it.
