HP OfficeJet Pro 6960. My Cyan cartridge won't print without blank streaks. It was working fine until about three quarters through the cartridge. After several failed attempts to clean it, I replaced it with another HP Instant Ink cartridge. The same issue persists. I must have cleaned the head a dozen times, still unresolved. HP Instant Ink suggest that there are some cartridge faults and are sending more to replace. However, as the original cartridge was fine for most of its life, and the problem persists through the new cartridge, I'm beginning to think that the problem lies with the print head - which for me means a new printer because the head cannot be changed on my model. Can anyone shed any light on this for me before I reluctantly consign the printer to the bin? Many thanks . . . .

If the several cleaning cycles within 2 or more days is not improving print quality then it's the printhead for sure.

Thanks for the reply  Valsimot . . . . Yes, this is my third day of trying through multiple cleaning cycles. The outcome is the same, the blank streaks won't shift. Thank you for your clearly expert insight on this issue. Looks like it's the printer graveyard beckons. This was otherwise the perfect printer for my needs . . . do you care to risk recommending a good replacement? Many thanks.
