Good Morning, I tried to find a solution to use non-HP ink cartridges for my all in one Office Jet Pro 6968. I could not. My printer is now out of warranty. Please send me a software patch to allow the use of these cartridges. If I am not allowed to use these cartridges in the printer that I paid for and own, I feel there are only three solutions. 1. You extend my warranty for the life of the printer as long as I am using official HP ink cartridges. 2. You send me a brand new printer, free of charge, equal to, or better than what I currently have, and I will continue to use HP products, or 3. I buy a new printer from another manufacturer. I cannot afford to buy genuine HP cartridges

Keep in mind, I can buy a brand new printer for the price of your ink cartridge replacements. How can this possibly be right?

I can have my oil changed in my car anywhere I want to and by anybody, especially after the car is out of warranty.

Thank you for your help in this manner.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
