Hi, I’ve just bought this printer and have been trying to print clear labels, but the text when printed seems to almost expand and isn’t clear and crisp as it was with my last Laserjet. There’s a big difference I. The two prints. Have used label settings but should I be changing it to something else?

Welcome to the HP support community.
Perform a power reset
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
- Turn on the printer.
Update the printer firmware

This might require one on one interaction to fix the issue.
I request you to talk to HP support.
They might have multiple options to help you with this.
- Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
- Select the country.
- Enter the serial of your device.
- Select the country from the drop-down.
- Click on "Show Options".
- Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
I hope that helps.

Yes thank you, that was actually the first thing I did but they keep saying they will call me back and don’t. I think I’m just going to have to box it up and take it back. It was 3 times the cost of the last printer but that one produced a better quality print.
