Hi @BeeTrans,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

To assist better-Where was the printer purchased and where is it been used?

A regional reset must be performed on the printer for it to accept the new region ink cartridges..

Meanwhile, refer to the below image to know the supported cartridge numbers for different regions.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Hello Jay,

I have purchased the printer in Middle East and have used it there for some time. Now the printer is used in India and the cartridge 123 is Middle East specific. In India it is 803 as you correctly mentioned.

Also is region reset required and if yes how to perform it,  so that I can use India Specific cartridge.

Thanks & Regards,

Beetrans

Thank you for getting back to me.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
