Hi @KkLogA,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The EE error on your HP DeskJet 2710 All-in-One Printer (HP 2700 series) usually indicates a hardware issue or a serious error preventing the printer from starting up properly. Since you've already tried resetting it, here are some additional troubleshooting steps.
Check for Paper Jams or Obstructions
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the front and back access areas.
- Look inside for any bits of paper or debris.
- Close everything securely and plug the printer back in.
Reinstall Ink Cartridges
- With the printer on, open the ink cartridge access door.
- Remove both ink cartridges (black and color).
- Clean the copper contacts with a lint-free cloth and reinsert them firmly.
- Close the door and check if the error clears.
Power Reset the Printer
- Unplug the power cord while the printer is on.
- Wait at least 5 minutes.
- Press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds (if your model has one).
- Plug the power cord back in and turn the printer on.
Try a Forced Reset
- Press and hold the Cancel (X) + Wireless buttons together for 10-15 seconds.
- Release them and check if the printer restarts properly.
Test with a Different Power Source
- Plug the printer directly into a wall outlet instead of a power strip or extension cord.
- If possible, try a different power cable (compatible with HP printers).
Check for Overheated Components
- If your printer has been in heavy use, let it cool down for 20-30 minutes before restarting.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
