HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer

My husband has an HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 printer that he has owned for more than a year and would like to enroll in Instant Ink.  Is this possible now, since we didn't enroll when first purchasing the printer?  I don't know if it matters, but the printer is out of warranty.  Thank you for any insight anyone has!

I am not able to help you directly - I do not work for HP.

Those of us "outside" of HP cannot access any private information.

 

When you are able to do so,

I suggest you contact Instant Ink Support .

If they are keeping to business hours, try on Monday.

 

The printer might generate a new code if you stop Web Services for a bit and then restart Web Services.

 

All about Web Services:

At this point, there is no reason that you need to think about Step 9...

 

Most of the time, any problems can be fixed.

 

What else?

I will tag the moderator team that you need help.

 

You may choose to wait here in the Community for an agent to find and respond to your question.

Instant Ink "Print by Page" is a great service for those who print regularly, use a lot of ink, and want the convenience of a managed print service.

 

Before you enroll,  get help to decide whether an Instant Ink subscription plan is right for you.

 

Read everything - watch everything - read the Terms of Service contract (yes, do that).

I suggest you also read the  HP Instant Ink - Cancel Your HP Instant Ink Service

 

When you decide to enroll, follow the instructions or call Instant Ink Support for help.

 

The Support number is listed on both the website (scroll down) and in that important contract document, too.

Thank you so much once again for your response ... HP's customer service is not available on the weekends unfortunately, and I was hoping to be able to resolve the issue today, but I will have to be patient and wait.  😊  I'm sure there is some kind of a work around that will enable us to complete the enrollment in Instant Ink for this printer, I just need to find some patience.  Thanks again for your willingness to reach out and attempt to assist me today.   Have a great weekend!
