Please describe in detail how I can get the clip/flap/whatever that holds the ink cartridge back into its home. I cannot load ink with it off.

I understand how frustrating this must be—especially when a small part like the ink cartridge clip prevents you from loading ink properly.

 

Inspect the clip for any signs of breakage. If it is cracked or broken, it may need replacement. If intact, proceed with reattaching.

 

If the clip is damaged beyond repair, you may need to replace it.
