HP OfficeJet Pro 8028 All-in-One Printer

I ran out of ink so bought a new ink cartridge and installed it.

It is installed properly and I have installed cartridges before.

Then on next power cycle I got Event code 62.80.03 problem with printhead.

I have followed all the steps to ensure I rebooted (with power cycle) and have cleaned the printhead with the cleaning solution twice.

I get this error non stop on every reboot and can't use the printer.

Appreciate any help.

Hi @Akshay2024,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be happy to help you.

The error indicates a firmware error.

We can perform a factory default on the printer to resolve the issue

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
