After deciding to end my Instant Ink subscription I received an e-mail that informed me that from now on my printer will not work with ANY OTHER type of ink than HP original. Am I even reading and understanding that correctly??
If that's the case, I'll be selling this piece of junk cheap to anyone who has the patience to deal with HP products. If I buy a printer, it's MY business what I use in it after purchase. I so regret the day that I decided to sign up for that Instant Ink scam.
It has been a pain from day one - and now it tells me "thanks for dishing out money to us for years, we hereby wish to thank you by hijacking your printer and making it useless unless you obey by our commands".
I just want someone to confirm that this is what HP is actually saying, cause if that's the case, goodbye and I'm getting another brand.

Welcome to the HP support community.
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.
