I have an issue with ghosting. It creates a double print 18,9 cm below the actual. Is this a faulty drum? I can’t see any issues with it? Do i need to disassemble the drum unit to clean it?
The printer seems to be under warranty according to hp support.

I did call them, apparently it wasn’t under warranty.
I bought a new imaging unit, seems to have fixed the issue. The old one claimed to have 90% lige remaining, guess it didn’t really perform according to specs. Let’s see how the replacement does.

I see that you are facing ghost image printing issues with your HP Color Laser MFP 178nw.
Please download and install the firmware update by following the steps from this document. (Click on the word document to open the web page).
Let me know if this works. if not it may need replacement.
