I have an HP 6000. It is absolutely the worst printer I have ever used. I constantly need to restart it, had paper jams, goes offline, or cannot figure out why it won’t print. I will never buy another HP. There is no way to contact the company directly so I have to post on here. Maybe someone at HP will read this.
Think carefully before you purchase this product. It sucks.

Hi @Mimi612,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Paper Jams:

  • Ensure that you are using the correct type and size of paper recommended for your printer model.
  • Check for any small pieces of paper that might be stuck inside the printer.
  • Regularly clean the paper feed rollers to remove dust or debris.

Printer Connectivity Issues:

  • Verify that the printer is connected properly to your network or computer. Reconnecting the cables or re-establishing the Wi-Fi connection can sometimes help.
  • Update the printer drivers via HP's Support website to ensure you have the latest version installed.

Offline Printer Problems:

  • Check the printer status on your computer or through the HP Smart App. If the printer appears offline, try restarting both your printer and the computer.

Restarting the Printer:

  • Ensure that you perform a proper power cycle: turn off the printer, unplug it, wait a minute, and then plug it back in and power it on.

I hope this helps.
