Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP 4255e Printer with cartridge HP67 XL.  Replaced ink cartridge because the printer showed it was not printing because it was empty.  Even though I might have gotten only 30 pages out of the cartridge.  If that?  I have replaced with a new cartridge from Amazon twice and I get the same error message E- 0. I have followed all suggested fixes I have seen.  Does this mean my printer is defective/dead?

Update the firmware. Click here

 

If you have performed all the steps from this document and still having issues, either the cartridges are faulty or the printer itself.
