Hello,

I have an HP wide format printer, model 7740, which uses ink cartridge 953. Unfortunately, I mistakenly ordered ink cartridge 952, believing they were compatible with the 7740 model. I wasn't aware of the regional concerns and compatibility issues with HP printers. 

 

Now, my printer has been reset, and it requires the original 953 ink cartridges. I am stuck because I can't use the original 952 cartridges I purchased since the printer specifically requires 953. Additionally, it has been three years since I bought the original cartridges, so I cannot reset them to factory settings. I do not have the old and first inks 953 anymore. 

 

I'm looking for help regarding this situation. Is there any way to use the original 952 cartridges in my 7740 printer, which only accepts 953?
