Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I purchased and installed an HP 8210 printer about a week ago and am struggling to get it to print in high resolution consistently.

I set the Print Quality to Maximum DPI in the printer preferences. I then printed a pre-existing Adobe InDesign file. It printed in low resolution (fat, blurry type). I changed the Print Quality in the Adobe file to Maximum DPI and it printed in high resolution (crisp, clean type). Unfortunately, when I printed the same file a few days later, it printed in low resolution even though I had not changed any settings (both the printer and file were still set at Maximum DPI). I then changed the Print Quality to Professional and then back to Maximum DPI in the file, and the print quality improved, although a few lines of type were blurry. I really do not want to have to open the print settings and click on Maximum DPI every time I open and print an Adobe file. Any ideas on how to get the 8210 to automatically print an Adobe file in Maximum DPI every time?
