HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus e-All-in-One Printer - N911g

The screen displays a message that there is a problem with the cartridges.  turn off printer and if it doesn't go away contact hp support.  Just replaced cartridges with HP brand and the printer acknowledges that they are genuine.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re facing issues with your HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus printer, especially after just replacing the cartridges. That must be frustrating!

 

Perform the steps from this document and see if that helps. 

 

Update the firmware. Click here
