Hello,

 

My Office jet HP 5222 printer is not printing color in good quality. I am not sure what the problem is but I have tried diagnose and fix already. Can someone please help me fix this issue? It's out of warranty as well and there is no way for me to contact customer care. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that you are facing print quality issues. I'd like to help!

 

Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,

  • Clean the printhead.
  • Check the paper.
  • Check the print settings.
  • Print a Print Quality Diagnostics report.

Follow the document here for further troubleshooting.

Hello Elohi,

 

My apologies for replying late. I contacted a customer care representative after buying a support package post warranty. I think the problem was with faulty cartridge. The customer representative agent was able to order new cartridges for me and I hope this solves the problem. Thanks for your response.
