Hi All,
I have tried literally every step and bit of advice that I have seen on here, my printer was printing black a month or so ago, now it will only print color, both brand new cartridges, I have checked for firm updates, cleaned everything alligned everything, check the settings, nothing at all is working.

Hi @Semtition ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble with your HP Deskjet 2700 All-in-One printer. Let's try some troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
Check Ink Levels: Ensure that the black ink cartridge has enough ink. You can check the ink levels through the printer software on your computer.
Print a Test Page: Print a test page to determine if the issue is with the printer or the computer. Follow these steps:
- Press the Wireless and Information buttons on the printer simultaneously.
- A test page should print. Check if the black color is present on the test page.
Clean Printhead: Sometimes, the printhead may get clogged. Most printers have a utility for cleaning the printhead. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to clean the printhead.
Align Cartridges: Make sure the cartridges are properly aligned. You can usually find this option in the printer software on your computer.
Update Printer Drivers: Ensure that you have the latest printer drivers installed. Visit the official HP website, locate your printer model, and download the latest drivers for Windows 11.
Restart Printer and Computer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about 30 seconds, and then plug it back in. Also, restart your computer.
Check for Firmware Updates: Make sure your printer firmware is up to date. You can find firmware updates on the HP website.
Reinstall Printer Software: Uninstall the printer software from your computer and then reinstall it. Make sure to download the latest version from the HP website.
Check Print Settings: Ensure that your print settings are configured correctly. Sometimes, the default settings may be set to color printing only.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.-
