It´s a HP deskjet 3700, P/N T8X19 B: It does´nt print magenta, the other colours seem to be fine. I have put in a new ink cartridge for the three colours, I deleted the printer driver on my notebook, reinstalled the newest version, I cleaned the catridge (the old and the new one), but all these actions haven´t helped.
I forgot to mention that I started the automatic cleaning several times, doing the second cleaning phase as well. I cleaned both cartridges, the old and the new one, with some paper , and also some parts inside. Black and the remaining colours are printed well, but not magenta. All the lines on the test sheets are straight, but with magenta there is just a blank.
I bought it in October 2022. Too young to be broken!
I would be grateful for a tip, thanks a lot in advance. (edited)

Hi @Andrea-CLZ-25,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Check for Cartridge Vent Blockage: Remove the color cartridge and locate the vent (tiny holes on top of the cartridge). If clogged, gently clean it with a lint-free cloth or a pin to ensure proper ink flow.
Align the Printhead: Open HP Printer Assistant (Windows) or HP Smart App (Mac). Look for Printer Maintenance and select Align Printhead, then follow the on-screen steps.
Manually Clean the Printhead: Power off the printer and remove the ink cartridges. Dampen a lint-free cloth with distilled water and gently clean the printhead’s copper contacts. Let it dry, then reinstall the cartridges.
Use HP’s Print Diagnostic Tool: Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows) to detect and fix issues.
Try Another Cartridge (If Possible): Even new cartridges can be defective. If you have another HP cartridge, try swapping it to check if the issue persists.
Please let me know how it goes, and if you need further assistance.
I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?"—your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍✨
