My HP Deskjet 4155e print quality is very poor, very light as if there is not enough ink in the cartridge. Both black and color is very light, cant read most of it. The blank ink cartridge is about 1/2 full the color 1/4 full. I have run HP Smart diagnosis, it says everything is working, does test print, very light. Used available software provided by HP smart to clean and realign the printer, do test print same problem. I dont use Wi Fi in my house, use cables, printed hundreds of pages this way no problems. Did not use printer for at least 2 months.
Can some one please help me fix this problem and:
Tell me where I can download the complete users manual for HP Deskjet 4155e?
Tell me how to print in Black only? I use to see this option but now cant find it.
I found the manual online but it was not on the HP website so I did not download it.

Unfortunately this is not much help. The manual link provided is for HP Deskjet 4100e. I have 4155e.
The options are not the same, on page 34 Toolbox provides maintenance for printer I cant access.
Below is copied from manual.
Toolbox (Windows)
The Toolbox provides maintenance information about the printer.
NOTE: The Toolbox can be installed along with the HP printer software if the computer meets the system
requirements. For information about system requirements, see Specifications on page105.
To open the Toolbox
1. Open the HP printer software. For more information, see on page 33.
2. Click Print & Scan .
3. Click Maintain Your Printer.
Option 2. On my software the Print and Scan are 2 different options. I clicked them both and cant find

Also, this manual goes as far as Windows 10, I have windows 11.
I used to have the option to print in black and white or color without removing any cartridges, now Im not seeing this.
Do I need to update my printer software??

I found a software update on this website but cant install it. I searched for downloads for HP 4155e. Went through the process, the website finds my printer and gives me update for a 4100e. I try to complete the update using an ethernet cable (dont have wi fi). The first window lets me proceed using ethernet cable. The next window does not give me the option to use ethernet cable, only wi fi. I cant update my printer software, Very disappointed.

Hello Fabio,
I have the HP Smart app on my computer, it ran diagnostic and said everything works well. I think the problem is I dont
use wi-fi and have not installed the latest software update to the printer.
