Officejet 5230
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

First instant ink cartridges received were 65/304 when loaded message reads 'The indicated cartridges arre not intended for use with this printer'. Printer takes 302 cartridges. Nightmare trying to get support, partially deaf so telephone support is no good for me.

Are 304 cartridges compatible with officejet 5230? These were supplied by instant ink and can’t solve this problem.

Replacement cartridges received and installed successfully. 65/304 same as cartridges previously supplied under instant ink. Can only assume that initial cartridges sent that caused problem were faulty in some way.

Yes, looks like previous cartridges were faulty.

Good to know that the new cartridges are working fine.

You can reach us for assistance with HP products in the future.
