HP Laser 107a

Hi,
I am in KSA and I purchased HP Laser 107a from Amazon and original HP cartridge 106A, but the printer does not recognize the cartridge, can you help me please ?

Try these steps:

1. Verify the Cartridge Compatibility

Ensure that the cartridge is compatible with your printer model. According to the HP Laser 107a specifications, the following toner cartridges are compatible:

  • HP 105A Black Original Laser Toner Cartridge (1000 yield) W1105A
  • HP 106A Black Original Laser Toner Cartridge (1000 yield) W1106A
  • HP 107A Black Original Laser Toner Cartridge (1000 yield) W1107A

2. Reinstall the Toner Cartridge

Improper installation can cause the printer to not recognize the toner cartridge. Follow these steps to reinstall the toner cartridge properly:

Open the top cover of the printer. Opening the top cover

Grasp the handle on the toner cartridge, and then pull the toner cartridge out to remove it. Removing the toner cartridge

Remove the new toner cartridge from its package, and then discard or recycle the packing materials. Removing the packaging from the toner cartridge

Grasp both sides of the toner cartridge, and then distribute the toner by gently rocking the toner cartridge back and forth. Rocking the toner cartridge back and forth

Align the new toner cartridge with the tracks inside the printer, and then push the toner cartridge until it is firmly seated. Inserting the new toner cartridge into the printer

Close the top cover. Closing the top cover

3. Reset the Printer

If reinstalling the cartridge does not resolve the issue, try resetting the printer:

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Wait for at least 30 seconds.
  3. Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

4. Update the Printer Firmware

Dear Kuroi
The Cartridge is Compatible and Original from Trusted Source, And I tried to reinstall the cartridge many times, I did rest printer, and updated the firmware.

As per some advices on the internet, the printer needs to reset or change the region on the HP printer, because it is not from KSA, how to do it ??

Thank you for the update.  

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

To perform a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions: 

  

1. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer. 

2. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region/country from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region/country to which you want to reset it to. 

3. Make sure HP Smart App is installed too.
