HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw

UPDATE: I have found that printing pure black text the print always appears normal. Printing an image (e.g., screen capture) of the same exact text, causes the text to be blurry w/ a purple hue and a double-stamped typed of look. Also, changing the color of text to anything other pure black causes the issue. It appears as if there is an alignment issue between the black and color toners possibly.

I have added some scans of the issue below. The first is the black text vs. the colored text (just changing font color only). The second is a screen shot of the same text so one is printed as image and one is printed as text. These same tests were performed via 2x Windows 10 laptops, 2x Android phones, 1x Ubuntu laptop, and also HP e-print. All are the same.

Issue: When printing, text and sometimes images, have a purple ghost image shifted a few pixels up and to the left of the text or image. Kind of looks like a purple fringe you get from photos with strong backlighting. The weird thing is that if I print a test page of any time (from printer web GUI, print drivers, etc.) they print fine. If the text is something super basic (notepad) it is perfectly fine, but if is anything else like word processor, outlook, MS word, Chrome, Edge, etc. then it has issues. I have tried printing from 2 laptops, HP E-Print, and multiple Android devices all with the same issue. I have also tried downgrading the firmware back to 2020 revision, upgrading to latest firmware, full hard reset back to factory defaults, new drivers, old drivers, Windows 10, and Ubuntu and still the same outcome. If I copy something or print any internal prints, they come out perfectly fine. I have also tried old & new toner cartridges without resolve.

Any thoughts?

I appreciate any and all ideas as I don't want to toss an otherwise perfectly good printer with only 603 pages run through it.

BTW - In my previous job I was an HP Desktop & Printer authorized warranty servicer, so this is not new to me, but this issue is beyond weird.

I have tried all of these with no success. After spending nearly $350 on new toners, I even tried 3rd party toners all with the same exact outcome. In regards to servicing, if the printer needs out of warranty servicing servicing after less than 700 prints, my next printer won't be an HP. As mentioned, I was an HP warranty repair tech for Inkjet, Laserjet and wide format printers for a number of years and I have never seen this before.
