I have an OfficeJet Pro 8600 Printer that I bought in the US more than 10 yrs ago. I am now living in Mexico and when I replaced the HP 951 cartridge I received the message that the "cartridge is not compatible". I suppose that I need to make an update of my HP printer. Can someone please help me with this?

If you've purchased the printer in one country/region and moved to another, the printer will require a regional reset, in order to get the cartridges working from the new region, that said, here's what I recommend:
