Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My printer is really annoying me - I have no color cartridges left but plenty of ink in the black cartridge still. However, it won't let me print in black and white, even when I specify grayscale or monochrome in the printer settings. Feels like they're just forcing me to buy more color cartridges, which I don't even need. Anyone know a way around this? Thanks

It all depends on a printer model, not all printers can print with black ink only while color one is empty.
