My HP Officejet 4655 will not print in color files from my desktop computer.  It will produce a perfect test page with all colors and it will copy in color.  I have uninstalled HP Smart app, retarted my computer, downloaded and reinstalled HP Smart app and no change.  I've also checked for new updates for the newly installed app but still no change.  It prints everything beautifully as long as I want everything to be black!

Hi,

Try following below specific version of the HP Print and Scan Doctor Utility by selecting your printer:

http://ftp.hp.com/pub/printers/hppsdr/patches/HPPSdr.exe

Be sure to restart your PC and allow the utility to complete the process, then check for any difference.

Try printing and check for any change, if the same remains try printing using the newly added print queue copy (Copy1) and check for any difference.

Thanks, Shlomi, for attempting to help me but so far, no luck.  I clicked the link and followed all step to include restarting my PC and allowing the utility to complete the process, but no change.

The one thing I could not do is to "try printing using the newly added print queus copy (Copy1)" because I could not find such.

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong...?

Hen you click File > Print from your application, click the printers drop-down menu and expend it.

Don't you see additional print queue with your printer name? (4650), with added numbers or letters or Scan only?

If you see any additional copy, select it and try printing through it please, then check the results.
