Are there any other HP printer users outraged at HP outsourcing their ink cartridge supplies?  I am running out of ink for my T120 wide format printer, Officejet Pro 7740 printer and an old A4 HP printer and I no longer want to be part of the corporate demise of HP.

Is there a way of unlocking HP's security lock on aftermarket cartridges - I no longer care about my guarantees.

Hi Sandy-

I need help too- 

My HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 came with 954 cartridges. The HP site suggests ordering 952XL's for this printer (so i did) and they won't work it's saying they are incompatible.

 

I've been trying to find a solution for months and now my printer warranty expired last month. The cartridges are still under warranty, but the link to file a support claim now won't work bc my printer warranty expired. I tried googling 954's to buy them as a last resort and I can't even find them for sale online. I live in the US.

 

This printer is brand new and was only used for a month before it ran out of ink. I have brand new 952XL cartridges that HP says are compatible but my machine isn't accepting them?

Please help reset my printer settings or override the cartridge lock so that it accepts the 952XL's.
