Hi,
if deactivated the Setting for Cartridge protection but still can't print.
Running HP Officejet Pro 9010 under Windows 11 with Firmware 2.2530C.00.
Done also an OOBE Reset.
So need urgent a solution! Would be fine not to throw away all of my HP Printers.
Kind regards
Stefan

Welcome to the HP Community --
There is perhaps a misunderstanding --
I've seen comments that indicate that even the different AI bots might be confused about this setting.
Cartridge Protection is not related to the embedded security that protects the printer against using ink without an HP chip.
Ask your ink supplier if they adhere to the requirement for an embedded HP chip in the cartridge.
There is no legal way to bypass the embedded security.
We do not judge what people decide to do --
Should you decide to move on, perhaps consider donating a working printer as opposed to "throwing away".

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Tab Settings > Supplies > Supply Settings > Cartridge Protection = OFF or ON
OR
Alternate format EWS
Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar
Section Supplies > tab Supply Settings > Cartridge Protection = OFF or ON
The Cartridge Protection feature permanently protects cartridges for use in only one fleet of products or product to help prevent theft.
If, after cartridges have been protected, they are moved to a device outside the fleet (fleet based) or to a different printer (printer based), these cartridges will be identified as protected and will have to be replaced to continue printing.
Note:
When you turn on this feature, all cartridges installed in the printer will be protected. However, if you turn off this feature again, these cartridges will remain protected. Only cartridges installed afterwards will not have cartridge protection enabled.

Thanks, so there is no way to bring back the HP Printer to print with the Cartridge he mean that is not suitable?
So HP still blocks cartridges not being produced by HP?
And, with my experience, they also block downgrading the firmware.

You are welcome.
True --
The Dynamic Security protects the printer from using printers that lack the HP chip.
Some ink sellers use HP chipped cartridges and others do not adhere to the requirement.
and
It is my understanding that the printer will tolerate -- at least for a while -- the use of refilled / remanufactured ink that is packaged in HP chipped cartridges. I've never used such products. Personal choice.
Downgrading the firmware has been tried -- whether that works and / or whether there is a way to force the printer to comply with what you want is not something I can answer. We cannot -- and do not -- provide information on any practice (that is) not supported by HP.
Depending on your region, HP chipped cartridges might be available for use in your printer(s).
And
These might work -- at least for a time -- without damaging your printers.
Note
The internal mechanism that detect ink levels might NOT work in re-worked cartridges.
Keep track of usage manually and change ink when the print quality declines.

Thank you very much.
So i will throw away all my HP Printers, because the original cartridges cost four times more than my standard. And my Standard has worked for years now without any problem.
And I will have my lawyer examine whether this constitutes unfair conduct.
Again, thanks for your fast answer.
